Stephen La Scala, 53, passed away after a very long battle with metastatic cancer in the comfort of his own home in Brick, New Jersey surrounded by his loving family.  Since 2015, Stephen has been fighting a losing battle with metastatic cancer, he received bad news after bad news. A few months ago him & family found out that his cancer was getting more aggressive, and he wished to start hospice (after unsuccessful radiation and chemo),

He was born in Carteret, NJ and lived in Brick, NJ most of his life. Stephen was a Service Manager for Advanced Auto Parts in Brick, NJ

Stephen was predeceased by his father, Stephen LaScala, and his son, Nicolas.  He is survived by, Lisa (nee Wendlandt) LaScala; his two children, Olivia and Christopher LaScala; his two brothers, Dominick LaScala and Michael LaScala; his sister, Camille DiCarlo and his mother Camille (nee Panepinto) LaScala.

A memorial service is planned at a later time.
