Roberta Marie Kennedy was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 8, 1954 and died on April 6, 2017.  She was a lifelong resident of the “Jersey Shore.”   Roberta graduated from Neptune High School in 1972 and Oral Roberts University in 1976. She was an English teacher. She taught in Mem­phis, TN and Elizabeth, NJ.

Predeceased by her grand­parents, William “Pop” and Florence Kennedy and Mariano and Concetta Tar­ricone and by her parents, Wilson M. and Frederica Kennedy.  She is survived by: her two step­sons and daughter-in-law, Jason and Anne Bochenek and Randy Bochenek. Her beloved grandsons - Jor­dan and Brandon Bochenek stepmother - Vivian Ken­nedy sister and brother-in-law - Patricia and Ken Snyder and Nancy and Joe Sacewicz, nephews - Kevin and Sean Snyder, Stephen Jors and wife Brianna, Eric and Lisa Joyce, great neph­ews and great nieces many beloved and lifelong friends. Roberta is also so grateful for the dear friends made later in life who be­came her family.

A Memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church The Ocean Grove Church, 80 Embury Avenue, Ocean Grove, NJ, 07756 on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at 1 pm. For more information, please write to Robertamemorial@aol.com
