RABINOWITZ--Rene S., age 92, was the wife for 45 years of Rubin Rabinowitz of Clifton, NJ. She died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, August 2, 2014.

Rene is survived by her sister Dulie (Eugene) Kahn of Falls Church, VA, her sons Andrew of Chicago, IL, and Peter of CA, stepsons Jonathan (Denise) of New York City, Joshua (Richmond) of Montclair, NJ, grandson Alex of Hoboken, NJ, granddaughter Kate of Annapolis, MD, and great-grandson Maxwell, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rene was a successful public relations person until her retirement. She was a member of the board of The Reece School of New York City and of The Citizens Committee for the Children of New York. Through her charities and benefactions, she assisted many organizations.

A memorial occasion will be planned for the future in lieu of a service and Shiva.
