Lugo, Denia, age 70, of Jersey City died at Alaris Health at Hamilton Park on Saturday surrounded by her family.  Denia was born in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic and moved to Jersey City several years ago.  She was a homemaker her entire life. 

Ms. Lugo is survived by her sons: Danilo of the Dominican Republic, Jorge and his wife, Jacqueline, of Jersey City, Servio and his wife, Vanessa, of Perth Amboy, and Richard Lugo of the Dominican Republic. She also is survived by one daughter, Magnolia Rodriguez and her husband, Pramy of the Dominican Republic. Denia has two sisters in the Bronx, NY: Mayra Mateo and Belkis Mateo. There are numerous brothers and sisters in the Dominican Republic. There are nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also has many nieces and nephew that are grieving her loss. 

Visiting will occur at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 pm to 9 pm.
