Evelyn, Christine N., age 90, died on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Llanfair House Long Tern Care Center in Wayne, NJ.

Christine graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, Virginia.  She later attended college in New York where she received a certificate.  Ms. Evelyn began her career in banking as a clerk for a bank in New York and later rose to a Supervisor's position at the First Interstate Bank in Denver, Colorado.

She met William Evelyn in 1968.  They were together until his passing in 1998.

Ms. Evelyn is survived by her only daughter, Alisa Evelyn, of New Milford, CT.  She is also survived by two sisters: Magnolia Lane of East Orange, New Jersey and Rebecca Haley of Brooklyn, New York and ten nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10 am at the Mt. Calvary AME Church, 300 Eudowood Lane, Towson, MD 21286.  All are welcomed to attend.
