Betty Anna McCombs

McCombs, Betty Anna (nee Catino), age 88, died on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her home in New Providence, NJ surrounded by family members.  Betty was a much loved mother and grandmother.

Mrs. McCombs was born to Sam and Mary Catino on November 28, 1928 at home in Irvington, New Jersey.  She attended Chancellor Avenue School and Irvington High School.  She married Charles McCombs.  He passed away in 1992.  Her brother, Joseph Catino, also predeceased her.

Betty worked as a receptionist at Francis Chevrolet in Irvington, NJ and also Total Tech in Edison.

She is survived by a son, Charles McCombs, and his wife, Yvonne, resides in Delaware; and three daughters: Bonnie Gaffey and her husband, Peter, resides in Middletown, NJ; Roxanne Giacalone and her husband, Bob, resides in New Providence, NJ; and Darlene DiGeronimo and her husband, Frank, resides in Hamilton, NJ.  She is also survived by grandchildren: Barbara McCombs resides in Strasburg, PA and Linda Puckett resides in Connecticut, Brittany Gaffey resides in Lawrenceville, NJ, Marc Giacalone resides in New Providence, NJ, Nicole Giacalone resides in New Providence, NJ, Brianna DiGeronimo resides in Hamilton, NJ, Joseph DiGeronimo resides in Hamilton, NJ, and two great grandchildren: Dorian Puckett and Megan Racine.  Betty is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
