Edward Kradjian Obituary

Edward Kradjian was born in Aleppo, Syria January 24, 1944, to Father Leon Kradjian and Mother Ouzahni (Eugenie) Adjemian Kradjian. Edward was known to his family as Edo and Eddie, and as his Father’s Favorite Son and the Great Helper. Eddie had a love for education and excelled in academics with a special talent for learning languages and history, as well as being a math whiz. He was intelligent, independent, and a hard worker. Graduating from Aleppo University in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in law, after immigrating to America and settling in New Jersey in 1970 he did not have the opportunity to work in the law field. To earn a living, he worked as a driver.

Eddie was not an easy man to characterize. He was reserved and not quick to share personal details although he loved to talk in detail about almost anything else. Eddie also loved to sing and inherited a beautiful singing voice from his mother, who was well known for composing and singing Armenian folk songs. He had a tender heart and a sensitive personality, but rarely showed these qualities outwardly.

He passed on September 1, 2023, when he was found alone in his apartment after a long illness.

Eddie is survived by his younger sister Seta Kradjian Sakkal and her family in Washington State. He leaves behind several cousins, second cousins, nephews, and nieces, as well as friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Ouzahni Kradjian, and his older brother Nazareth and sister Madelene.

He will be extremely missed and loved, always and forever.

A special message is sent to heaven above for the angels to take good care of you and give you all my love Brother!  My brother Eddie, you will always be in my heart.
