Dinorah Lopez

Dinorah Lopez (Deelo), age 51, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. She was born April 11, 1969 in Humacao, Puerto Rico.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Katelyn Bentz, son, Ryan Bentz and many other loving relatives. We witnessed my mom’s last breath then her heart stopped. An image we will never unsee.

She was a practice manager of the psychiatry clinic at Columbia University. She went back to Monroe College and graduated in 2018 with a Masters degree in finance.

A great mom, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, friend, student, and boss. She enjoyed fitness, sports, drawing, and shopping. She was an intelligent, confident, independent, naturally beautiful woman. She was humorous, down to earth, adventurous, and very protective. An inspiration to many. She promised to show us signs that she’s okay. She has showed us four since she passed. It was always us against the world but, for now... Rest In Peace Dee.
