David Andrew Benkendorf, born July 16, 1950 in Clifton, New Jersey to William and Dora Benkendorf. He was survived by his wife Martha, his three sons: Charlie, Paul, and Dan, and four grandchildren and predeceased by one grand child. David passed away on August 6 at the age of 71.

David was a retired volunteer fireman for The Colesville Fire Department in Colesville, New Jersey. David spent his life farming and landscaping and in the later years of his life you could find him on an idol Sunday afternoon singing songs of praise, patriotism and encouragement. He will be sorely missed by all.
