Bernarth (Bernie) Steven Newman, 56, of Whitehouse Station, NJ passed away on Wednesday October 30th 2024. Born on November 12, 1967. He was the beloved husband of Jaclyn W (Stone) Newman, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.

Born in Somerville, he was the youngest son of the late Raymond and Isabel (Kadisch) He graduated from Piscataway High School - class of 1985, and furthered his education after graduation from University of Maryland with a degree in economics. He was employed with Bell Atlantic Mobile, Lucent and later became a supervisor at Verizon Wireless for nearly 20 years.

Bernie was an outgoing, loving, and charismatic man- who devoted his life to making others laugh and smile, as well as, making everyone feel included. He loved all kinds of comic books, going to all his favorite bands concerts, was an avid movie watcher, and traveling the world on cruises with family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Henry (Deborah) Newman of Marlboro, NJ and Joseph (Susan) Newman of Hackettstown, NJ; children, Samuel Newman of Harrisburg, PA, Benjamin (Jessica) Newman of Bethlehem, PA, and Rachel Newman of Whitehouse Station, NJ; as well as many nieces, and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be held, at a later to be announced date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood.
