Robert Esposito

December 14, 1948 ~ June 23, 2017 (age 68) 68 Years Old

Esposito, Robert, 68, of Neptune, NJ, passed peacefully at home on Friday June 23rd surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Brooklyn, and raised in Lincroft NJ, he graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School before serving for the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam War.   He then dedicated spent nearly 40 years to telephone service as a technician with Bell Atlantic/Verizon, befriending an amazing cast of characters along the way.

He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Florence (nee Truscinski) Esposito, of Lincroft NJ.

And is survived by, his beloved, love of his life and, wife of 41 years, Jean Esposito (nee Holmgren), as well as his daughter Carrie Esposito of Neptune NJ, and son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth Esposito of Wilmington DE, as well as and siblings;, sisters, Florence Bahr, Maui, Hawaii, Dolores Evans, Port St. Lucie, FL, and brothers, Donald Esposito, Port St. Lucie FL;, and Dan Esposito, Daytona Beach, FL. 

As he’s known to his closest friends, Bob, or Bobby, and/or Espo …  he was as a horse racing enthusiast, and called Monmouth Park a second home. 

An amazing husband, father, brother, and friend,; he touched many, and leaves behind countless memories we’ll cherish forever. 

As words alone cannot express our sentiments towards Bobs life, we look forward to photo donations for remembrance boards at his service and repass gathering.

A memorial service will he held on Saturday July 1st beginning promptly at 11:30 am at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport NJ.
