Ann Shapiro

Annie Shapiro lost her battle to cancer on December 18, 2017. She was born on August 24, 1957 in Paterson, New Jersey. She resided in Glen Rock, New Jersey for most of her life before moving to Hawthorne, NJ. Annie will be remembered for her kind heart and spunky personality by the many people that loved her. Annie was a devoted mother to Allisan Emes (John), Alexandra Slater (Gerald) and Sararose Cupo (Andrew), proud grandmother to Ava, Johnny and Mila, sister to Lee Shapiro (Georgia) and loving daughter to Allan. Annie is predeceased by her mother, Lois and partner John Quinn. Memorial donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Research Center.
