Those who knew Marc, even just a little, lost a true friend in their lives. He will forever remain in our hearts as we celebrate his life and the laughter, he brought to us.
Marc is survived by his immediate family in the United States, his mother Ann Marie; his sisters Marsha and Marlene, brother-in-law Troy; nieces, Kalisha and Kadisha, nephews Kaleal and Kameron and cousin Beverly. He will also be missed by his adopted brother Harry, a group of close friends and family in the United States, Trinidad and Canada.
Marc lived his life enjoying each day to the fullest, finding the joy and happiness in every situation. Marc was always doing something silly to tick someone off and make you laugh all at the same time. Only he had that gift!
Let’s allow his spirit to live on in each of us. Let us find the good in each person we encounter as he did; find the joy in every situation and celebrate each day as if tomorrow is not promised. How often do we make a bucket list and never follow through on checking anything off that list? We can honestly say Marc’s bucket list is all checked off! He lived life on his own terms and everyday was an adventure.
Although Marc never wanted kids of his own, he became a surrogate uncle to many. The kids all loved to hang out with Uncle Marc because he was fun and always positive.
Mourn how you need to; then pick your head up as you learn from his mistakes and celebrate the joy he found in life. Marc was always up for an adventure, spent the holidays with his close friends and family. Shed the tears you need too but know that Marc went out laughing and will continue laughing until we see him again.
