Julian James Lawrence

Julian James Lawrence, age 68, passed away the evening of September 6th, 2020 with his loving wife and children by his side due to complications of pneumonia.

Julian was born to Jane Arick Loomis Lawrence of Fort Wayne, Indiana and William Paul Lawrence of New York, New York. He was born in Concord, California and spent a period of time in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his grandmother Evelyn Loomis later settling in Bordentown, New Jersey. Julian was married to Victoria Wassall Lawrence July, 17th 1976; together 48 years and married for 44. He attended college at Indiana University Fort Wayne and later received his Addiction Counselor Certification from Rider University. He spent his early working years at the Coca Cola distribution center in Hightstown, NJ and Young’s rubber in Trenton, NJ. He spent many years working for Service Supply in Burlington, NJ as a salesman. Julian also modeled and was in the movie Arthur. His most fulfilling role was working at Catholic Charities helping those in need with drug and alcohol addictions.

Julian had a knack for bringing humor to any situation, loved music and celebrations with his family. He was most passionate about bringing smiles to his grandchildren, whether it meant taking water balloons head on or asking his grandkids, “pull my finger”.

He is survived by his wife Victoria (nee Wassall) of Juliustown, NJ; son Julian James Jr. formerly of Trenton, NJ; daughter Nicole DeFeo & husband Richard of Lumberton, NJ; son Vincent & fiancée Marlene Perez of Delran, NJ; son William Paul II & wife Lindsay of Howell, NJ; son Johnathan of Niskayuna, NY and son Alexander of Madrid, Spain. His cherished grandchildren; Jessica, Shannon, Ty, Cruz, Hayden & Grayson. Extended family Reina & Bella. Beloved older brother Brady, wife Kim & family of Las Vegas, NV.
