Geralomina (Masi) Giaquinto

Geralomina “Gerri” Giaquinto (nee Masi), age 92 of Wayne, died peacefully on July 15, 2020.

Gerri was born in Bronx, NY and graduated from James Monroe High School. After high school, she began working as an office assistant in New York’s financial district and eventually retired from Liberty Textile Mills in Paterson. Gerri has been a resident of Wayne since 1964.

Gerri was predeceased by her husband, Angelo, in 2013.  In their 65 years of married life, they enjoyed traveling throughout the US and abroad.  Gerri served as president of the Wayne Elks Club Ladies Auxiliary.  She was also an active member of the Wayne Golden Age Club and the Wayne Senior Follies. Gerri and her husband shared a passion for dancing. In their retirement, Gerri and Angelo together taught Line Dancing for seventeen years at the Camp Hope Senior Center in West Milford.

Gerri is survived by her daughter Diane Lattanzio (Joseph) of Kinnelon, her son Ronald (Elaine) of Colts Neck and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Lucy, of Mamaroneck, NY.
