Corinne Capaci

Corinne E. Capaci was born on August 20th, 1953 in Jersey City NJ. Beloved daughter of Rose Gianinio and Lawrence Capaci. Corinne had been known as Cookie since childhood. Cookie was mother to Maurice Capaci and Delinah La Tempa. She was divorced and living with her son at the time of her passing.

Cookie was little sister to Harold Capaci of Minot, North Dakota, big sister to Idamae Renne of Woodland Park, NJ, Rosemary Fattaruso of Oklahoma, Lauren Capaci-Hirtes of Newton, NJ and Pamela Capaci of Red Bank, NJ. She was a loving and dedicated grandmother to Ashlee, Dominick and Bella Capaci, Samantha Heddinger, Christopher Heddinger, and Olivia Perez. She was Aunt to Carlo Renne Jr, Rosemarie Mack, Joey Fattaruso, Diana Fattaruso, Chrissie Depre, Anthony Fattaruso, Christopher Capaci, Colin Capaci, and Stephanie Blake-Lastra. She will be greatly missed by them all.

Cookie loved all animals, especially dogs, and delighted in being the family pet-sitter. Cookie had a sharp sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on. She enjoyed a long and varied career in the Food Service and Retail industries. This included positions with Wal-Mart, Subway and catering services for KERFOTT Corporation, a global leader in navigation and motion control products located in Woodland Park, NJ.

Cookie traveled throughout the USA and lived in many different States in her lifetime. At the time of her death Cookie was retired and enjoyed knitting, playing computer games, spending time with friends, and family, especially her 6 grandchildren. May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of her mother for all eternity.

Services will be held at the Living Waters Church, 20 Andrews Dr. Woodland Park, NJ on Saturday, January 5th @ 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Lung Cancer Society https://giving.mskcc.org .
