Nora Jane Gorksi, beloved mother, wife, daughter, and friend, passed away quietly on Friday April 12, 2024 at the age of 74 in Morristown, NJ.

Born on 10/23/1949 in Brooklyn, NY, Nora was raised by her loving parents, Ruth and Lester Noble. Nora was known for her cheerfulness, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her lively spirit and compassionate heart.

Nora lived in many places: New Jersey, Connecticut, Arizona, Alabama and Pennsylvania. She made friends wherever she went. Her marriage to Azriel created homes filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. Together they volunteered at temple functions, and they were active members in their community.

As a mother, Nora was a source of endless love and support. She was devoted to her children Rachel and Richard, and took great pride in watching them grow and succeed. Her unconditional love and guidance will be forever treasured.

Nora had a passion for animals, particularly dogs. She opened her home to animals in need of fostering, and she adopted many dogs as well. She provided comfort and second chances to countless furry companions. She was able to have her dog Bentley with her until her passing. Bentley was a cherished pet for Nora. He is now with friends of the family where he can enjoy his senior years in comfort.

Nora is survived by her children Rachel (Erik) and Richard (Heather), her grandson Logan and her sister Marlene. She is predeceased by her husband, Azriel. Nora will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the furry companions she loved so dearly.
